V.A.C. Ulta Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System

KCI’s V.A.C. Ulta Therapy System provides negative pressure wound therapy with an instillation option. Instillation allows for automated delivery of topical wound cleansers and removal of infectious material. V.A.C. therapy is designed to create a healing environment by prepar ing the wound bed for closure, reducing edema, promoting granulation tissue formation and perfusion, and removing exudate and infectious material. The unit is compatible with several of KCI’s V.A.C. dressings. The V.A.C. line of wound therapy systems are intended for use in acute, extended and home care settings, and for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds, as well as partialthickness burns, ulcers, flaps and grafts.
