Berchtold D 850 Surgical Table
The D 850 Surgical Table features 1,000 pounds of lift and articulation throughout entire range of motion. According to the company, the table has the greatest vertical range on market, from 22.6 inches (lowest) to 46.4 inches (highest), with nearly 17 inches of longitudinal slide. The table has an imaging window, X-ray cassette channel, carbon fiber tabletop construction and Instadrive.
STERIS 5085 SRT Surgical Table
The 5085 SRT is a crossover table that slides, rotates and transports patients throughout the perioperative area and is the only surgical table cleared by the FDA for patient transport, according to the company. A drive wheel allows one caregiver to safely transport a patient from pre-op to OR to post-op without red-zone gurneys or trolleys. In pivot mode, the drive wheel locks and rotates 360 degrees, without support posts or weight calculations. An intuitive hand control with an LCD window telegraphs table-positioning data and allows one-touch patient posturing. The four-section tabletop articulates to a variety of patient postures. The 5085 table can be upgraded to the SRT at any time by adding the drive wheel and head section. Both tables are configured to enable ACT (Advanced Control Technology) software and are compatible with previously purchased STERIS accessories.
STERIS Harmony LED surgical lights/HD camera module
The Harmony LED Surgical Lighting and Visualization System from STERIS delivers pure white light to the surgical field. With a CRI of 97 and an R9 value of 96, surgeons can see every detail and every subtle shade of red. The system provides a crisp spot with no color fringing or rainbow effects, the company says. The Surgeon Control allows adjustment of light intensity, spot size and position from the sterile field. The system’s high-definition suspension uses a cable management system to help ensure high-quality video images. The new HD Camera Module can be mounted in the lighthead’s sterile handle as an optional component, to provide multi-format, full-featured HD color video with adjustable zoom, focus and brightness.
Skytron Aurora II LED surgical lighting
Skytron’s Aurora II is a LED surgical lighting system equipped with high-performance hybrid LED optics that provides surgeons with direct control of intensity and focus. Aurora II’s features include manual focus of high intensity LEDs and a centrally positioned ring of fixed-focus LEDs, which can enhance intensity while minimizing eye fatigue. Color temperature is selectable for every procedure, including bright (4,500K) or soft white (4,000K). The system provides bright, cool and shadow-free illumination without heat or glare, even during extended surgical cases, allowing the entire surgical team to remain comfortable while under bright illumination, the company says.
