Kimberly-Clark // Microcool Surgical Gown
Kimberly-Clark Health Care’s MicroCool Breathable High Performance Surgical Gown meets AAMI’s Level 4 Standard for liquid barrier protection, a system of liquid barrier performance classification for protective apparel. The single-use gown provides lint, abrasion, flame and bacteria resistance, and helps prevent blood and fluids from penetrating through to the clinician’s skin during procedures. The microporous fabric uses two layers of nonwoven fabric to enclose a protective film layer that dispels body heat to help keep the wearer cool.
Ecolab // Microtek Robotic Assisted Surgery Drapes
Ecolab’s surgical patient drapes for robotic assisted surgeries feature procedure appropriate fenestrations, including a larger abdominal fenestration to accommodate unique positioning of robotic arms; multiple cord holders to keep the surgical site organized and free of obstruction; integration of Ecolab Microtek patented technologies, including PerfectPouch for fluid control; separate sets of leggings and dual trough pouches.
Medline // Ecodrape
The Medline EcoDrape is the first surgical drape made from renewable, sustainable wood pulp. EcoDrapes are made of more than 96 percent natural fibers without dyes, chemical binders or fluorochemicals. EcoDrape has all the same features as other Medline drapes, including hook-and-loop line holders, large reinforcement zones and premium tape and incise film flush to the fenestration.
Cardinal Health Tiburon HD surgical drape
The Cardinal Health Tiburon HD provides three layers of protection from potentially infectious fluids inherent in every procedure. The top layer works by absorbing fluids rather than repelling them, containing them on the spot. This fluid control helps enable quicker room turnover time and provide an overall safer work environment. The middle layer is reinforced with a proprietary advanced Strike-Through Barrier Technology, which makes the drape strong and impervious. A soft bottom layer ensures patient comfort and provides additional strength. The Tiburon HD advanced proprietary three-layer technology allows the drape to pass the stringent ASTM F1670 and ASTM F1671 industry tests for blood and viral penetration. Barrier Technology provides fluid-impervious protection throughout the base of the drape, giving it the largest critical zone in the industry. The Tiburon HD surgical drape now features larger adhesive strips, so they stay in place during even the longest procedures. Featuring an increased armboard cover width, the drapes are designed to cover the patient’s entire body.
