InteliShield barrier film for ostomy applications is designed with a combination of plastics that is PVC-, PVdC and plasticizer free, and free from DEHP, a substance that is gaining more regulatory attention globally. Ostomy bags fabricated from the film have passed or exceeded the industry’s demanding standard requirements. The InteliShield film features an optional non-leaching antimicrobial inner surface, which has been shown to be effective in rapidly killing a range of bacteria.
