The EPA has approved hype-Wipe Bleach Towelettes for killing and/or inactivating C. diff spores on hard, non-porous surfaces in a four-minute contact time. The single-use, hospital-grade disinfecting towelettes are used for disinfection in numerous clinical settings, including in the ICu, patient and public bathrooms, and in labs. hype-Wipes are also approved to kill several pathogens in one minute, including Carbapenem-Resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP), hepatitis B and C, Influenza h3N2, Norovirus, and Tuberculosis. hype-Wipes are saturated with the 1:10 dilution of bleach recommended by the CDC, OShA and NCCLS. An expiration date is stamped on each foil pouch and on the outside of every box. Individual hypeWipes do not dry out as towels in canisters can if the lid is left open. Clear acrylic holders are available for storing hype-Wipes.
