Bio: Dr. Katherine Velez is a Scientist at the Clorox Professional Products Company where she serves as a technical liaison for the healthcare business, supporting UV-C and manual surface disinfection clinical studies as well as product development. Dr. Velez previously served as a scientific consultant in Washington D.C. She received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where she lead and conducted research on tuberculosis treatments.

Name: Timothy S. Goedvolk, RN, B.Sc.N., MSN

Title: Senior director, clinical solutions at Allied BioScience

Bio: Timothy is a registered nurse with more than 16 years of health care experience in South Africa, Canada and the United States. His areas of clinical experience include adult and pediatric emergency services, critical care, surgical services and infection control. Prior to joining the Allied BioScience team, Timothy served as a nursing clinical practice consultant, where he focused on quality improvement and utilizing lean and six sigma projects. Timothy has led supply distribution, purchasing, contracting and value analysis initiatives for various clients. He has served as an expert speaker regarding health care finance and clinical practice and has delivered presentations for national conferences such as the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society and the Infusion Nurses Society. Timothy has also served as an adjunct lecturer at Sheraton College (Toronto, Nursing), the University of Nevada Las Vegas (Nursing), the College of Southern Nevada (Nursing) and the University of Texas (Houston, MHA program).
