About the Presenters:
Dr. Lawrence Muscarella, President of LFM Healthcare Solutions LLC is an independent safety expert who advises clients about the safety of medical devices and the causes of infections in healthcare facilities, among other topics. His knowledge and expertise in hospital safety are internationally recognized. During the past 25 years, Dr. Muscarella has authored more than 200 articles on the causes and prevention of bacterial outbreaks in healthcare settings, the design and FDA-regulation of medical devices, and both the reprocessing of reusable medical devices. He has been interviewed by more than two dozen news media outlets and shows, including: CNN, NBC’s The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, ABC World News Tonight, and the CBS Evening News, among others.
Ronald Banach, Director of Clinical Training for Ruhof. Ronald Banach is an independent clinical expert who advises clients about the use, care, handling and best practices in the field of GI Endoscopy in healthcare facilities, among other topics. His knowledge and expertise have been acquired over the past years coming from his 23 years working career at Olympus America GI Division and 7 years with Caris Diagnostics/Miraca Life Sciences specializing in GI Anatomical Pathology. Throughout his career has devoted his efforts to education and training in all aspects of Gastroenterology.
