CS Medical, LLC has a number of activities planned to educate consumers and health care professionals about the importance of infection prevention. Topics presented during the virtual event will include the process and products designed and developed for cleaning, transportation, electrical leakage testing, disinfection and storage. IIPW is an annual awareness campaign to stimulate interest in and highlight the importance of infection prevention. As countries continue to fight against a global pandemic, COVID-19 has shown the world how crucial infection prevention and IPs truly are in keeping our communities safe. In recognition of the infection prevention and control community, the 2020 IIPW theme is “We Love IPs.” APIC has developed downloadable infographics, fact sheets and social media materials to help educate all audiences on the necessity of infection prevention in protecting public health.
“We are proud to support our IPs during IIPW,” said CS Medical LLC President Mark Leath. “This year has put infection prevention on the global stage, and we appreciate the tireless efforts of the world’s IPs.”
“We are happy to have the support of CS Medical, LLC for IIPW,” said APIC President Connie Steed, MSN, RN, CIC, FAPIC. “APIC welcomes the healthcare companies who have joined International Infection Prevention Week as Corporate Champions. Through IIPW, we reach healthcare professionals and patients with lifesaving information about infection prevention and the importance of infection preventionists.”
CS MEDICAL LLC plans to join APIC and other health care organizations on Tuesday, October 20 at 12 p.m. ET for a Twitter chat using #IIPWChat to discuss the impacts of COVID-19, the well-being of IPs in the middle of a global pandemic, and what the future holds.
