The October 5 OR Today webinar “An Ultrasonic Cleaner’s Role in Preventing Dirty Surgical Instruments” was eligible for 1 CE credit. OR Today has been approved and is licensed to be a Continuing Education Provider with the California Board of Registered Nurses, License #16623.
Unfortunately, dirty surgical instruments are a fact of life in the operating room. Producing clean, sterile, safe instruments for surgery is a complex process. The process is one that requires the work of all perioperative team members as well as the proper function of the mechanical cleaning equipment. Kevin Anderson, Clinical Education Specialist at Healthmark Industries, shared insights about the ultrasonic and its role in helping to produce clean surgical instruments.
Anderson also fielded questions from attendees which added useful knowledge to the session.
This was another popular OR Today webinar with 322 individuals registered for the session and 163 tuned in for the live webinar. A recording of the presentation is available for everyone via an on-demand catalog at ORTodayWebinars.live.
Attendees praised the session giving it a 4.3 rating on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest possible rating.
