Kristy Warren MSN Ed, RN Director of Clinical Resources joined the Encompass team in July 2016.  She began her clinical career in the emergency department with a focus on trauma and advanced cardiac life support. In addition to leadership in the Emergency Department, Kristy joined the American Heart Association where she held the role of advanced cardiac life support Instructor. Kristy has served many progressing leadership roles in the acute care environment including Director of Education, and Clinical Nurse Manager of a 52-bed critical care unit. Kristy’s current role at Encompass allows her to bring her education, experience, leadership, and skills to the development and manufacturing side where her focus is on best practices, innovation, design, development, collaboration, training, and education. She is a member of the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN), National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP), Association of Linen Management (ALM) and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). In addition to her role as Clinical Resource Director at Encompass Group, she is currently serving as a volunteer in the role of Team Lead for the CE Approval Unit (CEAC) committee at AORN. Kristy holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Kristy resides in Orlando, FL.
