Join Seth Hendee, Clinical Education Specialist for Healthmark Industries as he discusses the impact of a Technical Information Report (TIR) transitioning into a Standard. Additionally, he will review roles and responsibilities relating to a water management team and program. Lastly, he will discuss key factors important water at point of water use and methods for verifying those parameters.
Seth Hendee is a Clinical Education Specialist for Healthmark Industries, where he provides expertise on medical device processing, policy writing and SPD education. Seth is a member of multiple AAMI working groups including those responsible for ST79, ST90 and ST91.
Seth is certified through the Healthcare Central Service Association (HSPA) as a CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL, CER and an Approved Instructor. Seth is also a CSPDT and CFER through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Prior to joining Healthmark, Seth worked for 20 years in a Central Services department. He held many roles during this time but in the last 8 years focused on education. Among other duties, Seth was responsible for providing initial training, continuing education, and competency verification for staff. Ensuring they were prepared to become certified, remain certified and could perform processing duties per standards and guidelines, and facility practice.
