About the Presenter: Dr. John Kutz, F.A.C.S. Medical Advisor at RepScrubs.

Dr. Kutz, a native of Dallas, Pennsylvania, graduated from The University of Scranton where he studied Biology and Philosophy. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, formerly Jefferson Medical College, of Thomas Jefferson University with several honors including AOA, and Excellence in Surgery. Dr. Kutz completed his surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was recognized for excellence in resident teaching and research. Following his training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Kutz served as General Surgeon in the United States Air Force. He then returned to Pennsylvania where he completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kutz maintains board certification by the American Board of Surgery in both general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery as well as the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. After returning to Scranton in 2003, Dr. Kutz established a practice in vascular and endovascular surgery. Currently employed by Commonwealth Health Systems Dr. Kutz was formerly a partner/owner in Delta Medix a multi-specialty group based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Section Chief of Vascular Surgery, Director of the Vascular Laboratory, and Director of the Wound Care Center at Regional Hospital of Scranton, Scranton Pennsylvania.
