Encompass employees load up a truck for donation to customers suffering Hurricane Ida devastation.
Hurricane Ida devastated the state of Louisiana with state-wide damage unseen since Hurricane Katrina ravaged the area. Many customers of Encompass suffered damage to their places of work and homes.
One of Encompass’ key partners in the state of Louisiana is Ochsner Health. The team at Ochsner saw several of their hospitals suffer significant damage as a consequence of Ida’s wrath. Numerous Ochsner team members lost everything, including their homes, in the hurricane. When Encompass heard of the devastation experienced by customers and friends, a truckload of Encompass scrubs and apparel was arranged to be delivered to those hurt most by the devastation.
The Encompass mission statement says: “We believe that every patient, resident, caregiver and family member should feel safe and comfortable in today’s healthcare environments.”
