Achieving Accreditation to Focus on the Importance of Quality Practices and Accreditation Readiness
(Skokie, Ill.) November 17, 2021 — The December 2021 virtual Achieving Accreditation program delivers two quality improvement (QI) workshops with a variety of sessions led by more than 15 faculty members, covering six hours of on-demand content, wrapped into a three-day conference. The interactive event provides organizations guidance for QI efforts and an intensive overview of how the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) Standards can be applied to maintain accreditation preparedness.
This season’s virtual conference, centered upon live engagements with highly experienced AAAHC faculty and surveyors, will feature panels and breakout sessions, small group collaboration, lunch and learns. Also, the program offers organizations plenty of opportunities to ask experts about their QI initiatives. Immersive Achieving Accreditation sessions are designed for currently accredited organizations and those that are new to the process, with curated content to meet the needs of primary care and surgical/procedural organizations.
“Participation in our flagship educational program gives attendees actionable knowledge to strengthen their 1095 Strong journey,” said Noel Adachi, MBA, president and CEO of AAAHC. “Achieving Accreditation is the ideal setting to learn about AAAHC Standards from our expert faculty. These peer health care professionals have an intensive understanding of how to manage AAAHC Standards across ambulatory settings. Organizations will learn how to apply the behaviors, skills, and knowledge to embody the 1095 Strong, quality every day philosophy – delivering high-quality patient care each day of your operation.”
The conference will promote best practices and strategies for analyzing QI projects for compliance with AAAHC Standards. Additionally, Achieving Accreditation will address topics such as infection prevention, clinical records management, Life Safety Code, and more.
“As the newly elected AAAHC Board Chair for the 2021-22 term, I look forward to participating in next month’s virtual conference” said Edwin Slade, DMD, JD, AAAHC Board Chair. “Achieving Accreditation is skillfully designed to intersect the expertise of knowledgeable faculty with the specific needs of our clients to stay 1095 Strong.”
“In today’s virtual environment, participants appreciate the helpful, welcoming support from AAAHC to enable smooth event onboarding and ongoing interactions,” said Adachi. “The education starts early and lasts beyond the event, with selected content available in the days leading to Achieving Accreditation, and hours of recorded content available for a month afterwards.”
