The recent OR Today webinar “ST108 Flowing from a TIR to a Standard” sponsored by Healthmark was presented by Seth Hendee, CRCST, CIS, CHL, CER, CSPDT, HSPA Approved Instructor. Hendee, a clinical education specialist with Healthmark Industries, discussed the impact of the Technical Information Report (TIR) transitioning into a Standard. Additionally, he reviewed roles and responsibilities relating to a water management team and program. Lastly, he shared key factors at point of water use and methods for verifying those parameters.
During a Q&A following the presentation, Hendee provided additional insights as he answered questions sent in by attendees.
It was a popular presentation with 252 individuals registered for the session, including Jessica Scherbarth, infection prevention coordinator at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Nebraska. She was the winner of an OR Today lunch bag cooler.
