The sterilization services market size reached $9.80 billion in 2021 and is expected to register a CAGR of 10.6% during the forecast period (2021-2030), according to latest analysis by Emergen Research.

According to the World Health Organization, a significant number of people around the world suffer harm from healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), many of which are entirely preventable. The absence of HAIs cannot be guaranteed, not even in the most developed or sophisticated country or health care system. Thus, it is expected that the increase in hospital-acquired infections will increase the demand for sterilizing services.
The global sterilization equipment market is expected to reach USD 15.6 billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of 10.5%, according to Research and Markets.
“The rising incidence of hospital acquired infections (HAIs), impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, and the increasing number of surgical procedures are the key driving factors of the market. The recent outbreak of COVID-19 is anticipated to significantly impact the market.
