The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) invites organizations to attend its virtual Achieving Accreditation conference taking place September 13-15. The virtual education conference provides organizations with trusted, expert guidance for an intensive overview of how AAAHC Standards can be applied to maintain ongoing accreditation compliance and quality improvement (QI) efforts.
The September conference will feature panels and breakout sessions, small group collaboration, and opportunities to ask experts about a variety of topics related to Standards, policies, processes, and QI initiatives. In addition, the program enables a flexible schedule allowing participants to attend live and recorded sessions on demand. Instant access to self-paced content in the week prior to and 30 days after the event, optimizes the opportunity for participation. Attendees may also earn continuing education hours, including up to 19 CEUs, 15.0 AEUs, and 2.0 IPCHs.
“Our goal is to encourage and influence improvements in the health care delivery system by offering a proven, engaging educational event that prepares everyone to face the future together,” said Noel Adachi, MBA, president and CEO of AAAHC. “Achieving Accreditation helps prepare ambulatory organizations for today’s challenges and patient care demands. AAAHC is a trusted leader in this complex and quickly evolving industry with proven experience in supporting efforts to stay accreditation ready all 1,095 days of the accreditation term.”
Expert AAAHC faculty and surveyors will lead immersive sessions designed for currently accredited organizations and those that are new to the process, with content curated to meet the needs of primary care and surgical/procedural organizations. In addition to presentations covering the v41 Standards and QI implementation, the three-day Achieving Accreditation conference will address:
- Advanced infection prevention
- Clinical records
- Facilities and environment
- Mental health in the workplace
- Anesthesia care services
- Surgical and related services
