ASP Sterrad NX System
The ASP STERRAD NX System is an instrument reprocessor for use in any OR environment, from substerile rooms to ambulatory centers. Its chief feature is a 28-minute cycle time (or optional 38-minute cycle time for single-channel endoscopes) that emphasizes instrument throughput. Disinfection is accomplished via a low-temperature, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma process that requires no special heat boosters, plumbing, aeration or ventilation to be installed. Its design accommodates instruments ranging in size from single-channel stainless steel lumens to single-channel polyethylene and Teflon-flexible endoscopes. With a countertop or cart-mounted footprint, the device can go in a variety of places, and is effectively “plug-and-play.” Its color-coded touchscreen and barcode reader option also help users simplify instrument tracking and processing.
SkyTron I-5 Washer-Disinfector
With an increased premium being placed on infection control and greater clarity from manufacturers on device instructions, surgical sterilization purchasers are demanding shorter cycle times, reliability in the washing process and testing the viability of those processes. The Skytron I-5 Washer-Disinfector emphasizes per-cycle consistency, with features such as volumetric flow meters that measure the amounts of cleaners used in each step of the process and temperature thresholds for each cycle. Constructed of stainless steel, the I-5 can be configured in single and pass-thru modes. The unit includes powered vertical doors, a viewing window, low-E glass and an interior halogen light for visual monitoring, as well as 16 pre-programmed customizable cleaning cycles. The integrated dryer package allows for sterilized gear to be prepared for re-use, and offers an optional cycle data printer.
ASP Glosair 400 System
The ASP GLOSAIR Healthcare Environmental Decontamination unit helps protect against environmental pathogens. The unit is fueled by canister cartridges containing a biodegradable 5 percent to 6 percent hydrogen peroxide mist that cleans devices without corroding them. Its lightweight design allows the device to travel to any area of the hospital environment-patient wards, emergency rooms, operating rooms and infectious disease units. Optional accessories include a remote control that can track decontamination remotely and a cycle data printer that connects via a USB interface.
