Integrated Leadership: The SPD Leaders Role in Building and Sustaining Exceptional Outcomes through Cultural Transformation
Although often misunderstood, sterile processing has a critical role to play in today’s health care environment. Hospital administrators and sterile processing leaders must understand the value of proactively managing the day-to-day operations to improve performance. By creating an environment that promotes safety, accountability and collaboration these leaders can mitigate failure and optimize innovation that improves the delivery of safe and effective care. The personal guidance of the SPD leader is a critical factor in the success of any change management initiative. In this presentation, SPD leaders will learn how to address obstacles that prevent their departments from achieving high performance in clinical and financial outcomes. Understanding barriers to leadership will help attendees understand economic and strategic considerations as they relate to the OR environment.
